Just Happy Snail

Since my friend and I have a “discount card” from one of our language class, so, we decided to have a hang-out with friends ( Mich and her friend) at this Korean dessert cafe and bistro.  As usual we saw lots of blog posts on this interesting place, and has actually “lure” us to give a try.  My 1st time to Publika.  Yes…1st time and I’m so dino?  The environment is quite modern, not like common Korean restaurant or cafe.  Many youngsters love to hang out there and the foods are quite different than the common one.  And I introduced Mich on the Lumix 14mm pancake lense, and she did enjoy photographing with that lense.  (note: all the pictures are taken with 14mm pancake lense) I don’t really found it any where…lol….. Yuza Tea (taste mild sweet and abit tangerine) – very refreshing :D Followed by this SnowFlower Sik Hae – korean barley rice drink Multi-grain tea – seriously, if you are on diet…this drink is suitable for you....

I'm quite a spender recently.  I owned a M4/3 camera with 3 lenses and some needed accessories for my travel and my so-called "Photography Training" when I have my freetime with my friend.  I owned a OEM 5 Million Dollar Crumpler which I bought during my trip at Hanoi, Vietnam.  A rush purchase to store my stuffs and my camera and the crumpler was so useful during my trip that time.  Then, I realised that I need a backpack for my camera if I were to travel to other countries with long duration.  So, I keep on "hunting" for nice looking and not-so-camera-bag-looked backpack style.  I came across with bags such as bagman, crumpler sink beige, national geography backpack which is cool looking as well but none of them caught my eyes (expensive or too big size for me). I want something looks casual but still nice-looking or unique and at the same time can at least protect my gears from rain.  I don't really just bring my gears, I loves to stuff my jacke...

Star Trek has been one of my childhood MUST watch series.  My main idols in the series, Data, the Android and Captain Picard….hahahah….. ^^.  I accidentally found cheap offer from Groupon and straight away bought 3 tickets in package with only RM38.  My siblings are also Star Trek fans.  So, we make a move to Pusat Sains Negara last Sunday.  Ohh…. Pusat Sains Negara, I think it’s been over 10 years since my last visit to there…what…secondary school?  Hahahha….. And before that, we knew that photographing is not allowed in the exhibition.  Which I feel it’s so stupid.  They should allow photographing as before this, in Orlando, Florida, photographing is allowed.  What’s with Malaysia…come on!!! *sign* … Somehow, although it says no photographing is allowed, I did saw many of the visitors took photos illegally inside the exhibition.  Mmm…. that is not a good attitude, when they said it, although is stupid but need to respect the rules, ok...

This is my 2nd visit to Putrajaya for the Hot Air Balloons Festival.  The 1st visit was with my dad, and it was really fun as I saw giant Doraemon balloon and the Darth Vader !!!  Whenever I listen to Doraemon’s song or see Doraemon…I’ll get excited.  This time, I decided to go for the night glow and fireworks show.  But before that, they will have a 2nd fly off at 5:30pm…but unfortunately, it rains and the weather was not that good.  So, end up some of the balloons get blow off to other direction and some just sitting on the spot. Waiting for the fly… My imagination when they fly…how beautiful…haaa….. Well, they just flying up and down…some went to other direction..and only that blue balloons cross the river. I decided to take a dinner before the night glow, hopefully it will be a fun night when seeing all balloons lightup.  Here’s the view: Ohh….!! Previously I were hardly found any PORK burgers in Malaysia.  Until I tasted pork muffin (i wished to called it pork burger…mm..) in a McDonald’s at Taiwan.  Then, sometime around last year at Midvalley, I found Ninja Joe, and tasted the pork burgers.  Well, it just a pork on a burger, that’s what I feel.  And it was really mini…as I bought the mini version.  Then, yesterday, my friends and I had a small gathering and before that someone suggested to have our gathering at The Hungry Hog @ SS15.  It’s a small bistro/cafe that serves ALL PORKS western food.  You don’t really see any hokkien fried mee in there or char kuey teow…..  It’s all in burgers, spaghettis, desserts, beers and drinks.  We ordered 5 main courses and a dessert.
