Dirty Noodles, Leo Star @ Kuantan

During our trip to Kuantan and Kemaman, one of my friend was so eager to bring us to eat ‘la cha mien’ (Dirty noodles).  I never ate before, and by listening to the name, it was like..”Waoo…dirty? oh gosh!”  But then she then explained to us that it is not the hygiene problem of the noodles, but it is referring to the messy table of the cook area and also the presentation wise.  The noodles taste superb.  “Ok….I’ll have a try”…this is what I answered her. The kopitiam erm…the presentation…yeah…abit messy and dirty, actually this is the old style of serving in my hometown…hehehe… Comes with a small little bowl of wantan soup.  Taste good.   Very old style stall and the un-cook and cooked noodles are everywhere on the table. Khun Thai Authentic Thai Restaurant @ Klang

Last week, one of my friend suggested us to try a Thai food nearby Parkland and Canary Garden – Khun Tai Authentic Thai Restaurant.  It has few branches at Petaling Jaya, Bayan Lepas, Butterworth, Penang and Kepong.  Klang branch was opened in 9 January 2013, it’s a good news for Klang people, as we do not need to rush till PJ or Kepong.  So, I let my friend to arrange the dinner as she went there before with her other friends and we go in a car as the road to the restaurant is quite narrow, dark and quite far away from the main road.  It is located just beside Langat River (Sg. Langat), so, you can imagine how beautiful it is when you can enjoy your dinner with the sunset view. Nice environment You can choose to have your dinner at the open air area Rice as served like common Thai restaurant We ordered 1 jug of this recommended drink – Ambra Asam (Ambra Sem Boi) Fried baby squids – nice taste but alittle bit hard to bite. Paku Pakis Belacan -  nice ...

Namoo On the Park - Cafe and Bistro @ Publika

Since my friend and I have a “discount card” from one of our language class, so, we decided to have a hang-out with friends ( Mich and her friend) at this Korean dessert cafe and bistro.  As usual we saw lots of blog posts on this interesting place, and has actually “lure” us to give a try.  My 1st time to Publika.  Yes…1st time and I’m so dino?  The environment is quite modern, not like common Korean restaurant or cafe.  Many youngsters love to hang out there and the foods are quite different than the common one.  And I introduced Mich on the Lumix 14mm pancake lense, and she did enjoy photographing with that lense.  (note: all the pictures are taken with 14mm pancake lense) I don’t really found it any where…lol….. Yuza Tea (taste mild sweet and abit tangerine) – very refreshing :D Followed by this SnowFlower Sik Hae – korean barley rice drink Multi-grain tea – seriously, if you are on diet…this drink is suitable for you....

The Hungry Hog @ SS15, Subang Jaya – All about pork burgers

Previously I were hardly found any PORK burgers in Malaysia.  Until I tasted pork muffin (i wished to called it pork burger…mm..) in a McDonald’s at Taiwan.  Then, sometime around last year at Midvalley, I found Ninja Joe, and tasted the pork burgers.  Well, it just a pork on a burger, that’s what I feel.  And it was really mini…as I bought the mini version.  Then, yesterday, my friends and I had a small gathering and before that someone suggested to have our gathering at The Hungry Hog @ SS15.  It’s a small bistro/cafe that serves ALL PORKS western food.  You don’t really see any hokkien fried mee in there or char kuey teow…..  It’s all in burgers, spaghettis, desserts, beers and drinks.  We ordered 5 main courses and a dessert. Here’re some photos of what we ordered: Hot chocolate in cute piggy cup   This is my Lemonade… Pork Goulash RM18.90.  The meat is soft enough, but too much oily for me… The signature “3 Little Pigs” ...
